It is a centuries-old question - why do beautiful people get away with so much? Well, probably because many easily fall in love with someone beautiful. This does not pertain to superficial beauty - the kind where physical beauty masks a nasty personality; although, those type may get away with a lot, but only for a limited time. This actually pertains to a truly beautiful person - inside and out. Sure, beauty may be in the eye of the beholder, but to state beauty is non-existent on its own is to ignore all the beautiful occurrences on Planet Earth, such as rain falling in a forest, animals roaming around in their own majestic way, a stream cutting through the earth - that is beauty, too.
Now, some may wonder what the author of this post may be inferring to with the topic of beauty and the title, "Do not fall in Love with Me." Yes, what I mean to state is that I am a beautiful person, I can get away with some things, and do not fall in love with me! To state I am beautiful inside and out would have to be directed to someone other than me, but that is not the point here. The point is that, as someone who receives a lot of attention, admits that my unique look may be considered beautiful by many, and even as someone who writes on various things which expose my personality, I must state I do not get away with much. Inside, I know I am honest, cautious, and vulnerable . I am unique in how I idealize others treating me as I treat them--thus, I emphasize doing good and living righteously. As someone who believes my inner world reflects my outer world, I try to do my best, but I am still human. With that said, it is not easy to hold such high standards for myself; especially when I hold low standards for others. By this, I mean, since I desire to reflect what I put out, I expect high results, even though what others put out, I allow since I believe in free-will. Others can do as they please as long as they do not interfere with my personal space or sincere beliefs. Sure, my own set of beliefs and standards makes it hard for me to open up to others, but my own set of expectations are for myself, and only few can change whichever ones I cannot see as harmful or closed.
People are going to be how they want to be -- very few will change; however, many will grow. Though we all move at our own pace, we will eventually end up where we are destined to be - whether we believe in fate, or not! Sure, beauty may get those who are ambitious enough further in life at a faster pace since some societies are so wrapped up in physical beauty to the point of constantly changing its standards and demanding its uniqueness. After all, what is beauty without attention? Beauty sells and whatever it takes to get people's attention is worth the effort, sacrifice, and resources. Well, it is not for me! I admire how much attention I receive and how beautiful are some of my features, but I do not exploit it all to get ahead in life. Perhaps, however, I should! That, there, should indicate whether I am superficial or not.
No, I do not give up all of my standards to gain something easily. It might be possible -- even at this stage in my life -- but I am not that type of person! I would rather work hard and be smart in order to achieve my success. The busines of beauty may be to expose and exploit whatever it can to the point of gaining profit, attention, and opportunity, but I am a human being. I feel, I love, I observe, I calculate and reason - why should I exploit myself for attention and success? Perhaps for Money? Oh, what many would do for the success of gaining money, resources, and privilege ... a lot! For someone who has standards, however, that question rarely crosses my mind because my mental status has made the decision that living truthfully, harmlessly, and in-tune with my fine nature is good enough for me. I do believe in nude art, and yes, it would be great to achieve stature, stability, and have an impact among societies; however, I do not live for society. I live for myself, so, do not fall in love with me!
